Weight limit for EBC Heli flights 500 kgs and the helicopter accommodate up to Maximum 5 pax. When the passenger in flight is up to 3, the chopper fly direct from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, but if the pax is more than 3 then, there will be the 2 shuttle flights from Pheriche (4371 Meter) to Everest Base Camp by maintaining the weight limit less than 250 kgs in average. Weight restrictions is most important factors while taking flight and weight must be average including camera, jacket, and small day packs, for 3 pax flying in single shuttle under 250 Kgs and up to 5 pax flying together for Double Shuttle weight must be under 500 kgs. Please be noted that, if the 5 Pax exceeds the weight limit, you will need another Helicopter to start the tour from Kathmandu. No Worries these are rare case, Please inquiry us with your weight and we will guide you accordingly.

In these rare case, we will refund you the tour amount excluding the airport pick and drop service cost if handle by Aspiration Adventure. But if there is flight canceled by client own problems 40% cancellation charge will be applied in the total cost.

What does helicopter shuttle for means in Everest base camp helicopter tour?
Helicopter can lift only 3 person at a time from Lukla due to high altitude. So, if more the 3 pax, it may lead to do shuttle which means lift passengers turn by turn. We have to do 2 shuttle flight from Pheriche (4370M) if there are more than 3 people due to high altitude risk management. As, there will be up to 250 kg weight limit due to the high altitude (over 4400 meter).
It there any hidden charge during the tour?
No, We don’t take any extra hidden charges for the Everest Base Camp flight tour once we agree on pricing. Please check our Price includes section for more details. As, these is 4 hours trip from kathmandu where all the cost is included including the airport departure tax. Helicopter land at Everest View Hotel for Breakfast and on the cost sharing basis it is difficult to meet each individual need. So, breakfast and Sagarmatha National Park permit fees are not included in this trip. You can get a set breakfast at $ 25 Per Person and Sagarmatha National park fees cost USD 30 or 3000 Rupees in Nepali Currency.
