Langtang Valley Trekking is relatively best short trekking routes of Nepal. These trekking trail lies to the north of Kathmandu on Southern slope of the Tibetan Plateau which lead to the fantastic mountains, glaciers, forests, rivers and Langtang National Park. During these 11 Days trek you will be walking through the National park, ethnic villages of Tamang, ancient monasteries and there are chances of seeing some interesting animals and birds. Langtang area is lightly inhabited and the trail less trodden So the trekkers can explore the langtang region closely in peaceful environment. Langtang trekking region offers majesic view of mountain above 7000m Langtang Lirung (7,200m), Ganesh Himal (7,600m), Langtang-II (7,227m) and other Himalayan range of Tserko Ri (5033m), Kyanjin RI, Ganchhenpo (6388m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and Laure Binayak pass (4,609m).

Langtang valley Trek begins with 8 hours drive from kathmandu to Syabrubesi. During the trekking you will visit several ancient Buddhist monasteries and follow the langtang river to east until get to Kyangin Gompa (3,049/10000 ft). Moving ahead you will experience Local Tibetan Village and see their lifestyle. Get opportunity to ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m/14268 ft), without any previous skills. From its top you will get 360-degree mountain view, visit the Monastery, and explore Kyangjin valley rest of the time. Finally, we will trek back through through the valley with mountain view until reach SyabruBesi where we will take the bus and back to Kathmandu.

Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m). Transfer to Hotel

From the beginning of enquiry, you will have travel representative to talk through email, phone call, social media or any desire medium who will give you an honest assessment of this trip and make sure to experienced difference. This personal service and warm welcome will also await at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, Nepal where Aspiration Adventure English Speaking representative will be on hand all the time waiting with your name plate and transferred to hotel. There will be a Pre-trip meeting, so make sure to ask all the questions. You can take this opportunity to hire or buy any trekking equipment at market or explore the tourist colorful market Thamel Bazaar down Town. Excellent books and coffee shops, extensive markets, novelty and handicraft shops variation with fantastic centres of cultural and spiritual significance.

Day 02:

Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation

After Breakfast at Hotel, we set out for a sighsteeing of Kathmandu Valley as per our itinerary includes the tour of Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Instead of Kathmandu Durbar Sqaure you will have option to visit Patan Durbar Square. All these sites are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Pashupatinath Temple is considered one of the holiest place for the Hindus built in pagoda style and site is a collection of temples, ashrams, images, inscriptions and the cremation ceremony of the Hindus can be seen along the Bagmati’s river bank. Swayambhunath Stupa is located at top of hill which is believed to be around 2500 years old. The four sides structure represents the four elements of earth, fire, wind and water. There are 365 steps passing through which you will reach the holy site or there is option of driving. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the oldest and biggest monument built in the Himalayan nation. Explore around the inspiring white dome reverberate with energy; observe and send a prayer where you wish. on each side are a pair of the all-seeing-eyes of the Buddha symbolizing awareness, look around for souvenirs. Kathmandu Durbar Square is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Palace. Many temples which are dedicated to different Hindu deities. Most of the buildings here were constructed from the 15th – 18th century. The palace is named after the Hindu god Hanuman, who is regarded as the protector of the entire palace. The Durbar Square of Kathmandu holds many old palaces, buildings, temples and statues from medieval times. Unique Nepali architecture, amazing wood-crafting, stone and metal works, rare carvings done on their doors and windows. After the tour, you will return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03:

Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m)

Distance: 7-8 hours drive

After early Breakfast we leave Kathmandu early for the seven hour journey to Syabrubesi. You’ll be driving alongside the Trishuli river for most of the day. You will come across spectacular views of terraced fields, small villages and snowcapped mountains. Syabru Besi is a major village town and trading post for the people. After driving for another hour downhill from the town of Dhunche, you’ll reach Syabru Besi. Overnight at a lodge in Syabrubesi with all meals inclusive.

Day 04:

Trek Syabru Besi trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m)

Distance: 6-7 hours trekking

Accommodation: Lodge/teahouses

After Breakfast at Lodge, we begin our trek to Syabrubesi along the route of the BhoteKosi and Langtang river. At first trail begins with an uphill hike through a forest. There is bit of steep climb to reach the famous place called Bamboo village, where we will enjoy our lunch. We might have the chance to spot rare and local wildlife like Red pandas, Langur monkeys, wild boar and many species of colourful birds as well as beehives hanging on the cliffs. The steep pull uphill takes you to village of Rimche, shortly after that pass through forest and scattered settlements to reach Lama Hotel. In lodge you will be reward with a comfortable bed in a cozy lodge. Enjoy the view of Naya Kang (5844m) and Langtang II (5696m). Overnight at Lodges in Lama Hotel. Day 05:

Trek to Mundu (3543m) via Langtang village

Distance: 6-7 hours trekking

Accommodation: Lodge/teahouses

After Breakfast, Today the trail takes us through rhododendron and pine forests, and scenic paths. As we reach the green meadows of Ghoda Tabela, the trail emerges from the forest and the mountains loom on either side of the valley. Finally, we begin to see the white peaks of the Langtang range. A Tibetan monastery falls before reaching the Langtang village which was affected by the April 2015 earthquake, now rebuilt and the area is open again to trekkers. We head up the Langtang Valley to Mundu. You will probably glimpse your first yak if you haven’t already. Overnight in Tea House. (Meal Includes: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 06:

Trek Mundu to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m)

Distance: 4-5 hours trekking

Accommodation: Lodge/teahouses

After a good cup of tea and breakfast, we begin our trek which will be short and easy. The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures with the towering mountains pressing in from both sides of the valley. This also acts as an acclimatization day before climbing Tserko Ri in the morning. We cross several small rivers and moraines before early arrival in Kyanjin Village which provides ample opportunity to explore cheese factory and small monastery. If you are feeling energetic, head up the Valley towards Langshisha Kharka to see some of the amazing views and stunning views of the snow-capped peaks. Overnight at lodge.

Day 07:

Acclimatization; Exploration day in Kyanjin & Tserko Ri (5000m)

Distance: 7-8 hours Walking

Accommodation: Lodge/teahouses

After a good cup of tea and breakfast, we start trek early to summit Tserko Ri. The trail starts passing villages and ascending up through yak pastures. Moreover, the sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is extraordinary. TserkoRi is the best places to see the peaks like LangtangLirung (7,227m), Langtang II (6,586m) and many more. After spent while in summit retracing to Kyanjing Gompa. If you haven't visit Cheese factory would also be another compulsory interesting option to see. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08:

Trek Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

Distance: 6-7 hours trekking

Accommodation: Lodge/teahouses

Include Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After Breakfast, We begin our trek and retrace our steps to Lama Hotel. As we retrace our steps, Most of the trekking today will be downhill as we pass through forests, beautiful Tamang villages, follow the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghoda Tabela. We also get to enjoy different view of the Himalayas that we had missed climbing up. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 09:

Trek Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi

Distance: 4-5 hours trekking

Accommodation: Lodge/teahouses

Include Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After Breakfast, we again trek back our steps through the Bamboo and rhododendron forests to reach Syabrubeshi. Today trek will be be easier as it will mostly involve descending and will be our last walking day in Langtang region. We will have plenty of time to reach Syabrubesi so we will enjoy the Mesmerizing view of mountains, green landscape, and the Tamang villages. Enjoy the last dinner together with guide and porter. Next day, Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Syabrubesi. (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Includes)

Day 10:

Drive back to Kathmandu

Distance: 7-8 hours Drive

After accomplishing an eventful and an enjoyable trek, we will drive back to Kathmandu from Syabru Besi. During the drive, you will get the glimpse of Trishuli river valley, terraced farmlands and meadows. Upon you arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transfer to hotels. Take Rest Or get yourself a good massage! If you want you can walk around the city and do shopping for your loved ones and relatives. In the evening, there will be a Farewell Dinner hosted by Aspiration Adventure at one of the Nepali authentic Nepalese restaurant with cultural show to celebrate the successful of trekking.

Day 11:

Final Departure

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab hygenic breakfast, then take last-minute shopping and explore around the market or relax at hotel in Kathmandu. You will be advised and assisted for onward travel arrangements to make sure that you arrive at Airport three hours before your flight departs. Our airport representative will drop you to the airport for your International flight as per your flight schedule. We will exchange our good-byes and now you will be leaving Nepal, armed with all the good memories and unforgettable Experience. We know and hope that you will always remember this trip and after return home tell stories of your amazing experiences in Nepal.
