Phakding to Namche route consists of a number of high suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River that you need to cross.
After exploring Tengboche Monastery, we head back to Namche Bazaar for Lunch and shopping before we hike down to Monjo. Final day trek route is an easy downhill slope which brings us back to Lukla. The trip ends with a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel and will be able to enjoy or take rest. Availability & Best Time of Year
This trip is available to start on any day a per client preference from the month Spring (March, April & May) and Autumn (September, October & November). These trip can be done throughout the year, but the best time are Spring (March, April & May) and Autumn (September, October & November). During these time you will find moderate temperatures and provide better view of mountains, less heat haze cloud and clear views of mountains. From October to December you will see more green forests in the region. Although this trip can be experience during winter and monsoon seasons too, though it is not suitable for everyone. The higher you go the colder it’s going to be. Above 4000 meters, you can expect snow and temperatures to descend rapidly below zero degrees. Be prepared for all weather conditions and have the right gear as there is always a risk of rain at lower elevations and Snow higher up during the trail.
Meals During the Trip
During our Glimpse of Everest – Tengboche Monastery Trek, you can enjoy typical Nepalese food as well as common international cuisine (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc) around the restaurants in Kathmandu. Whereas, On the trail all hygienic meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are included in the package cost. Breakfast and Dinner are served in the teahouse or lodge where you will be staying in, Lunch is provided on the way en route. You will have full options or freedom to select your preferred items from a menu provided by the teahouse/lodge. Food while on the trek is simple but tasty. Aspiration Adventure Ensure to provide best quality hygienic all meals during the trekking while Breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. There will also be a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances hosted by Aspiration Adventures upon your return from the successful trip.
Passport and Visa
If you are travelling to Nepal for (tour, sightseeing, travel, trekking, mountaineering, visiting friends and families) then you need to have a visa to enter Nepal. Arrival Visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu’s where you can simply get the “On Arrival Visa” with the application that require at least a passport of 6 months’ validity, and a passport size photo. You will be charged USD $ 30 for 15 days and USD $ 50 for 30 days as visa application fee which have to be paid in cash on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa). Most visitors will be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. The Certain country (Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria) are requested to acquire Visa prior their arrival from their local Diplomatic missions (Embassies/Consulates) of Nepal Government.
Trekking Grade
Glimpse of Everest Trek itinerary is pretty easier and can be done without previous experience. It is one of the easier trekking experience in Everest Region that can be done from the 8 years young to 75 years old. It is high mountain trekking so reasonable fitness level is required. It is physically quite moderate which involves approximately 5-8 hours trekking along the way. You should be in good physical fitness and have experience of multi day trekking.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is a must for safety reasons. Although this is a lower elevated trek, of course there is some risk. You might need an emergency evacuation in areas where roads and hospitals are not accessible in that case, you need to have a travel insurance. We encourage to travel insurance in your own home country.
Accomodation
At Aspiration Adventure, We believe that the accommodation is one of the major factor that enhances your overall travel experience. In Kathmandu you will be accommodate in deluxe properties and standard, clean, comfortable teahouses /Lodge during the trek. All the Accommodations are on twin sharing basis. However, Single Supplement can be provided upon request at additional cost. Please be informed that Single Supplement are easily available in Kathmandu but during trekking especially in higher altitude may not be feasible to get a single room. The rooms in Kathmandu are fitted with air conditioners and have en-suite bathrooms with 24-hour hot water. Other amenities include wi-fi, well-appointed suites rooms, spa, fitness center, swimming pool, restaurants, bar, café etc. At higher elevations, there are only a few tea houses with basic facilities but, we make sure of best service available and you will feel difference in accommodation. Along the Everest region, trekking routes standard teahouses/lodges which generally provide basic clean facilities with a mattress and a quilt or blanket. You can rent sleeping bags in Kathmandu (if needed). All the Accommodations are on twin sharing basis as well as the occasional dormitory. However, Single Supplement can be provided upon request. We use best lodges on offer to make sure you have the most comfortable experience on your trekking.
Will trekking guide speak English?
Yes, All of our guides speak excellent English. We use local guides who have been to the relevant areas numerous times. Our guides have many year’s of working experience, knowledgeable, flexible, polite, authorized licensed holder and are very good at connecting with people.
Is there any communications service available while we are on trek?
There are telephones available in some village along the Everest trekking routes from where you can make both domestic and international calls. Our guides carry local sim cards and we will communicate to all our clients through our trekking guides to at least once in a day to make sure you’re fine, safe, and have right everything up there. If you are wiling to get local sim card, we recommend purchasing an Ncell and Nepal Telecom pre-paid SIM card in Kathmandu. There are various rates and packages available for local sim card you should enquire to lower data and phone charges. Aspiration Adventure teams are available to support where necessary. On the demand, we can provide you separate local sim card. You have the functionality of calls and data noted that, SIM card will only work where there is local cell phone reception. It is widespread, but unreliable and prone to issues.

When is the best time of year?
The Everest trekking season runs from mid-September to May. The most popular month are post monsoon late September, October, November. December when mountain air is clear and fresh, and Late February, March, April and Early June when the weather is dry and pleasant and the rhododendrons bloom. Although this trip can be experience during December to February which is winter and monsoon seasons too, though it is not suitable for everyone.
Can I Choose my own Departure Dates for the trekking?

How do you avoid altitude sickness during trek?
- Drink at least 3 to 4 liters of water daily to keep your body hydrated.
- Avoid alcohol, smoking and caffeine, this are the major causes of dehydration and headache.
- Walk slow and take time to acclimatize to the increase altitude.
- Eat Well and Plenty
- Take Diamox Medicine as per the Doctor Instruction, an over-the-counter pill used to prevent and reduce the symptoms of altitude sickness.
What Permits are necessary for this trek?
Every trekkers who are going to trek Everest Region requires TIMS Permit, Sagarmatha National Park entry permit fee, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit. Please be noted that, you do not have to pay extra for permit. It is organized and provided in the package by Aspiration Adventure – All of these permit are included in cost.
