Day 01:

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m). Transfer to Hotel.

Accommodation: Standard 3 star hotel

From the beginning of enquiry, you will have travel representive to talk thorugh email, phone call, social media or any desire medium who will give you an honest assessment of this trip and make sure to experienced difference. There will be a pre-trip meeting, so make sure to ask all the questions. You can take this opportunity to hire or buy any trekking equipment at market or explore the tourist colorful market Thamel Bazaar down Town. Excellent books and coffee shops, extensive markets, novelty and handicraft shops variation with fantastic centres of cultural and spiritual significance. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02:

Full Day Sightseeing in the Kathmandu.

After Breakfast at Hotel, we set out for a sighsteeing of Kathmandu Valley as per our itinerary includes the tour of Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Instead of Kathmandu Durbar Sqaure you will have option to visit Patan Durbar Square. All these sites are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Pashupatinath Temple is considered one of the holiest place for the Hindus built in pagoda style and site is a collection of temples, ashrams, images, inscriptions and the cremation ceremony of the Hindus can be seen along the Bagmati’s river bank. Swayambhunath Stupa is located at top of hill which is believed to be around 2500 years old. The four sides structure represents the four elements of earth, fire, wind and water. There are 365 steps passing through which you will reach the holy site or there is option of driving. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the oldest and biggest monument built in the Himalayan nation. Explore around the inspiring white dome reverberate with energy; observe and send a prayer where you wish. on each side are a pair of the all-seeing-eyes of the Buddha symbolizing awareness, look around for souvenirs. Kathmandu Durbar Square is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Palace. Many temples which are dedicated to different Hindu deities. Most of the buildings here were constructed from the 15th – 18th century. The palace is named after the Hindu god Hanuman, who is regarded as the protector of the entire palace. The Durbar Square of Kathmandu holds many old palaces, buildings, temples and statues from medieval times. Unique Nepali architecture, amazing wood-crafting, stone and metal works, rare carvings done on their doors and windows. After the tour, you will return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03:

Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (900 m).

Distance: 5-6 Hours Driving

Wake up early in the morning, Take your Breakfast. Our trekking guide will pick you from hotel at 06:30 am and escort to tourist Bus station. Now, It's time to Kick off our trekking journey with 6 to 7 hours bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Normally, Bus leaves at 07:00am. You will travel along beautiful green hills and rivers. Late Afternoon, you will arrive in Pokhara then check in your hotel. Rest of the day is free on your own. Stroll around the Lakeside restaurants, coffee shop, pubs, and bars. We also have the option for a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes and if we reach early by road option of Boating in Phewa Lake. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 04:

Drive to Nayapul (1,010 m) and Start Trek to Tikhedunga (1,570 m)

Distance: 1 Hours Drive; 4 Hours walking

Accommodation: Standard Lodge

Next Morning, After breakast we take short drive to Nayapul, from where the trek begins! we will drive for about 45 Km. Drive offers best view of Annapurna Himalayan range with terraced landscapes. After short walk along the banks of Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) and follows the east bank of Bhurungdi Khola. In Birethanti, our trekking guide will quickly complete the necessary check in formalities at the office of ACAP. The trail climb steadily along the side of the valley until you reach Tikhedhunga (1570m) via Hille (1495m). Lunch will be eaten en route. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy with walking distance of 4 hours. Overnight at lodge in Tikhedunga. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 05:

Trek from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2,840 m)

Distance: 4-5 Hours walking

Accommodation: Standard Lodge

After breakast at lodge, We start our walk to Ghorepani through rhododendron and oak forest, suspension bridge and many beautiful waterfalls. We walk through a high suspension bridge and hour of trek from the bridge take us to beautiful village Ulleri (2,080 m/6,824 ft). We can find several lodges in this village. Bridge to Ulleri provides a stunning view of Annapurna South, Hiuchuli and Machhapuchhre mountains range. It is based on your pace of walking, may take 1.5-2 hrs to reach the Ulleri top. Banthanti (2,300m) and Nangethanti (2,450m) are other beautiful villages that lie on our trail. Until getting at Banthanti track ascends slightly as you walk on oak and rhododendron forest. The trail is peaceful and wonderful. After an hour of walk from Nangethanti, we reach to Ghorepani (2750m). During winter months, the trail can be covered with snow. Check-In at Lodge then, admire the amazing mountains views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range to the north and west with cup of coffee/tea. Overnight at the guesthouse in Ghorepani. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 06:

Early morning Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210 m) and Aterward, Trek to Tadapani (2,610 m)

Distance: 6-7 Hours walking

Today, We wake up early in the morning before the sunrise. You will be wake up by guide to take you to the marvelous viewpoint of the trip. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the view point of the Poon Hill from Ghorepani. Hike to Poonhill gives us breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchare, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Lamjung and many more. Grab a cup of tea/coffee and enjoy the awe-inspiring views. After, spending wonderful time we return back to Ghorepani, take a hot breakfast and continue trek to Tadapani. Today trek is long but the path is wonderful along the view of Mountains and village settlement. We descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani. Overnight at guesthosue in Tadapani. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 07:

Trek to Ghandruk Village (1,940 m)

Distance: 4-5 Hours Walking

Accommodation: Standard Lodge

Include Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After Breakfast, Begin our trek to Ghandruk, cultural exploration in this village. From Tadapani the trail descends through the forest of Ghandruk(1940m). Today Hike, is a relatively easy downhill and melodious sound of the birds energizes you. It is famous destination where all the Gurung community residing here and home to many Gorkha soldiers. You will be reaching at Ghandruk on Lunch time. Take rest and explore the village, museum and Gurung Culture. Get the views of mountains Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Fishtail. Overnight at lodge in Ghandruk. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner Included)

Day 08:

Trek to Nayapul (1,010 m) and Drive to Pokhara.

Distance: 1 Hours Drive; 4-5 hours walking

Accommodation: Standard 3 Star Hotel

Enjoy the trek, You have done it. Today we are going our trek at Pokhara via Birethanti and Nayapul. Birethanti is a beautiful riverside village where many trekkers starting and finishing their treks. After short rest, trek to Nayapul then get back to Pokhara by Private Vehicle. Upon arrival in Pokhara, Check in Hotel and enjoy completation of trek in relaxed lakeside town. You can find plenty of cafés, restaurants, Pubs with live music and yoga studios. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 09:

Drive Back back to Kathmandu (1,400 m) Free time on your own.

Distance: 5-6 hours Drive | 30 Minutes flight (*optional)

After Breakfast at Hotel, We take tourist bus from Pokhara. Ride will be fantastic as we will be taking Luxurious Tourist bus. After reach in Kathmandu, Guide will take you to hotel at Kathmandu. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes. Enjoy view of green sceneries, terrace fields, Trsihuli River and vegetable fields. Take Rest Or get yourself a good massage! Day 10:

Transfer to the international airport for your final departure.

You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements to make sure that you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight back home. Important Notes

Best Time for Trek

It is possible to do Poon Hill Trek throughout the year, but Spring in the month of (March, April, May) and Autumn in the month of (September, October, November, Early December) are known as the best time for trekking. As during these time you will find moderate temperatures and provide better view of mountains, less heat haze cloud and clear views of mountains. Some parts of the route may be covered with snow during the winter season, due to which pathways may be slippery. Similarly, In the Monsoon season Rain and leeches will also be present.

Visa Requirements

If you are travelling to Nepal for (tour, sightseeing, travel, trekking, mountaineering, visiting friends and families) then you need to have a visa to enter Nepal. Arrival Visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu’s where you can simply get the “On Arrival Visa” with the application that require at least a passport of 6 months’ validity, and a passport size photo. You will be charged USD $ 30 for 15 days and USD $ 50 for 30 days as visa application fee which have to be paid in cash on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa). Most visitors will be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. The Certain country (Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria) are requested to acquire Visa prior their arrival from their local Diplomatic missions (Embassies/Consulates) of Nepal Government.

Trip Grade

This itinerary is pretty easier and can be done without previous experience. It is one of the easier trip experience in Annapurna Region without missing comfort that can be done from the 7 years young to 80 years old. It is mountain trip so reasonable fitness level is required to walk for the 4-5 hours per day. The highest elevation during the trek is at 3210m so there is no worry about altitude sickness. Past hiking experience would be an asset but no technical skill is required for this trek.

Entry Permits & Requirements

Every trekkers going to Annapurna Luxury Trek require two permits which are 1. Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and 2. TIMS (Tourist Information Management System) Card.
To get permits, following information and document are required:

  • Passport Copy and Passport sized photos
  • Dates when trek starts and ends
  • Trekking Route Itinerary
  • Entry and exit points of the trekking

Please be noted that, you do not have to pay extra for permit. It is organized and provided in the package by Aspiration Adventure – All of these permit are included in cost.

However, Single Supplement can be provided upon request at additional cost. Please be informed that Single Supplement are easily available in Kathmandu but during trekking especially in higher altitude may not be feasible to get a single room. The rooms in Kathmandu are fitted with air conditioners and have en-suite bathrooms with 24-hour hot water. Other amenities include wi-fi, restaurant, coffee shop, and bar. At higher elevations, there are only a few teahouses with basic facilities. Please be Noted that, Upon the extra Cost you can upgrade to luxurious five-star hotel, features well-appointed suites rooms, spa, casino, fitness center, swimming pool, restaurants, bar, café etc. If you would prefer to stay in Luxury Hotel/resort in Kathmandu just let us know.
